I think that frozen ponds are one of the great things about living in the country. Sunday afternoon I dusted off my iceskates and enjoyed the smooth ice on our pond and the slightly warmer temps. Dan and Rebecca came out for a while also. It was pretty funny to watch Rebecca try and stand on the ice!

The only down side was getting one skate caught in a crack and wiping out. I'm still sporting the bruises, but can't wait to get out there again :)
i hope you got some video of her trying to stand on the ice. if it is anything like Jon's ice/snow video, it'll have me laughing.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness...that looks like so much fun! The bummer about having 60 degree weather all week this week:)...is not being able to ice skate on the lakes and ponds.
ReplyDeleteI miss the days in MN and Iowa out on the ponds. Can I come and skate with you?:)
miss you guys.
You're welcome anytime!!
