I love a good "before and after" projects and I'm hoping to have a lot of them this summer! I finished my first project today and here it is.
Before:
I found this bench at Goodwill for $2. I wanted a sturdy bench for Rebecca in the kitchen and I thought this one would work well. It's cute enough, but doesn't really go with the kitchen. So I gave it a make over.
After:
I used left over paint from our red wall in the dinning area and picked up some scrapbooking paper to match. I love the finished look. It still needs to have a coat of clear varnish so the paper is protected.
cool! I was at Joann's with my mom yesterday and found a knitting book and thought maybe I should find something like that to take up. I quickly realized I would never actually finish anything so I'll have to think of something else.
