I finally got a new sewing machine and had lots of fun with it last night. This was a fairly inexpensive
machine, but it is so easy to use and has so many cool stitches I know that I will have hours of fun on it. I never new that threading a
bobbin could be so easy! That has always be a struggle for me with other machines that I have used and this machine actually has a window so you can see the
bobbin while your sewing.

The "heartbeat" of my new machine.

With in an hour of taking it out of the box, I had my first project done. A double sided flannel baby blanket. It's hard to see, but it has a fancy
zig-
zag top stitch around the edge.
More fun to come!

ReplyDeletebut now i really feel like the non-crafty sister since i am offcially the only feamale in our family that doesn't own a sewing machine.
at least i am good looking ;)
Congradulations!! I see you got the Brother, I hope it works out well for you. I'm busy quilting. Love the flannel blanket. The machine may be inexpensive, but you can spend a fortune on fabric. Use those coupons :)
